Hi! I’m a Midwesterner who is passionate about books. Back in my “music days,” I  wrote for many outlets in Chicago including Gapers Block and The Deli Magazine Chicago, as well as ran my own website HEAVEmedia with some wonderful people until 2014. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with my MLIS and a concentration in Archives in August 2016. I enjoying bringing what I learned to public libraries in the Chicagoland area.

When I’m not at work or writing, I enjoy reading on the couch with my two cats, trying new beers, working on cosplay, and binge playing video games.
